Motorcyclist Killed after Colliding with Vehicle on 19th Street and Paxton
Dauphin County, Pennsylvania (August 5, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car on Thursday afternoon in Harrisburg, according to police.
The deadly crash was reported at about 1 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and Paxton Street in Harrisburg.
Police arrived at the crash site and located a motorcycle operator lying on the road with serious injuries.
The victim was taken to Hershey Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
According to a witness interviewed at the crash site, the motorcycle had been heading east on Paxton Street and struck the passenger side of a car coming from the opposite direction and was making a left-hand turn onto Dean Street, as per police.
The incident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
