3 Dead and 4 Injured in East Fallowfield Collision

Accident news today comes from a crash in East Fallowfield Township that left three people dead and another four seriously injured. The accident happened last night when a van reportedly slammed into a pickup truck, sending both vehicles off the road. The van that was heading south apparently ran through a stop sign and crashed into the truck. The van proceeded to strike a utility pole and then rolled over onto its roof, while the truck flipped onto its side after slamming into a ditch.

Police say that two men, Alan Wengerd and Terry Bidwell were thrown from the van and died at the scene. Laura Wengerd died later at Meadville Medical Center. The other victims of the motor vehicle accident include three more passengers in the van, one of whom was a 15-year-old boy, as well as the driver of the truck. All injured victims were quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment. There are not many details available as to their conditions at the moment, although the driver of the pickup truck is reportedly in stable condition today.

At Edelstein, Martin & Nelson, we realize that mistakes happen, and sometimes the results can be absolutely devastating.
