Route 11 Fatal Crash Kills 82-Year-Old Man and Seriously Injures 2

82-Year-Old Man Killed and 2 Others Injured in Two-Car Head-On Crash on Route 11
Marysville, PA (August 29, 2017) – The Pennsylvania State Police in Newport are currently investigating the fatal crash that killed an 82-year-old man on Route 11 Monday afternoon.
According to the report, the collision occurred around 4 p.m. August 28 on the northbound lane of Route 11 in Penn Township, just north of Marysville.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash was traveling southbound when it crossed over into oncoming traffic from the northbound lane. It hit another vehicle head-on.
The 82-year-old man was a passenger in one of the vehicles. He was declared dead at the scene.
The two drivers were transported to a hospital for the treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
No other information has been released at this time.
