1 Hit and Killed by Amtrak Train near Torresdale Station
Torresdale, PA (September 4, 2017) – One person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train near the Torresdale station in Philadelphia Sunday evening.
According to SEPTA’s website, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. September 3 near the station along Grant Avenue and James Street.
The Trenton line was heading to New York City at the time of the crash. A second train had to be brought to transport the stranded passengers.
