1 Hospitalized in Auto-Pedestrian Crash in Hempfield Township
Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania (September 22, 2017) – One person was hospitalized following an auto-pedestrian crash in Westmoreland County on Thursday, according to state police.
The incident was reported at about 9:12 p.m. along the westbound lanes of Route 30, about 100 yards east of the Mt. Pleasant Road exit in Hempfield Township.
The vehicle involved was heading west on Route 30 when it hit the pedestrian.
State police at Greensburg and Hempfield firefighters and Mutual Aid Ambulance responded to the crash site, according to the Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety.
