Elderly Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle Outside Church in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (September 25, 2017) – An elderly woman was hit and killed by a car outside a church in Pittsburgh on Sunday, according to police.
The fatal incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. September 24, outside Faith Lutheran Church in the Laurel Gardens neighborhood.
As per Ross Township police, the unidentified woman was transported to Allegheny General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the involved car stopped at the scene, as per police. No charges had been filed at the time of reporting.
