Four People Injured in Accident Involving Amish Buggy in Upper Leacock
Upper Leacock, Pennsylvania (September 19, 2017) – Four people were injured in an Amish Buggy Accident on Snake Hill Road in Upper Leacock on Monday morning.
The accident happened at about 9:52 a.m. September 18, near Windy Tor Road.
According to a statement by East Lampeter police, the buggy was struck from behind by a sedan.
The occupants of the buggy – two adults and two children, were injured in the collision and were transported by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment. Information on the condition of the four victims was not immediately available.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
