Man Killed and 2 Others Injured in Two-Car Crash on State Route 235

Jeffrey Hockenberry Killed in Route 235 Head-On Crash Delaware Twp
Delaware Township, Pennsylvania (September 21, 2017) – Jeffrey Hockenberry, 34, of Richfield, was killed in a traffic collision that left Christopher Duncan, 25, of Lancaster, and a child injured in Delaware Township, Juniata County, on Friday night.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, the incident took place at 11:15 p.m. September 15, on State Route 235 near the intersection of Salem Road and Black Dog Road.
As per the statement, Jeffrey was northbound on State Route 235 towards McAlisterville, while at the same time Christopher was heading south on Route 235 when for unknown reasons, Jeffrey crossed the median line and collided head-on with Duncan’s car.
Jeffrey was killed in the collision.
Duncan was injured and was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital by ambulance. A child who was in Duncan’s vehicle was flown to Hershey Medical Center.The injuries sustained by both the victims were described as non-life threatening.
The incident was still under an investigation.
