Man Injured in Shadyside Auto-Pedestrian Crash

Man, 65, Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Fifth Avenue in Shadyside
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (September 8, 2017) – A 65-year-old man was injured in after being hit by a vehicle in Shadyside, Pittsburgh, on Wednesday evening.
According to a report by Pittsburgh Police, the accident occurred at about 10:41 p.m. September 6, in the 5400 block of Fifth Avenue.
As per the statement, the man was struck by a Honda Civic, whose driver remained at the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to UPMC Presbyterian in critical condition.
The identity of the man was not revealed.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
