Posted on March 5, 2018

When we think of traffic accidents, we always think of normal, everyday citizens getting into accidents. However, this past week, Penn State experienced a Penn State Bus accident when their team bus hit Madison Square Garden and promptly got into an accident. The bus seemed to have a malfunction. Penn State Coach Pat Chambers said that it was a “bit of a fender bender” and commented on how something like this was expected in New York.

Because of the accident due to the malfunction, the team arrived to the arena 10 minutes later than it was supposed to against Ohio State. Lamar Stevens, sitting in confusing, commented that he didn’t know what was happening and thought that they hit a car. He said that the bus kept shutting on and off. However, even with that obstacle in the way, it didn’t stop Penn State from competing.
