Considering the fact that so many vehicles speed along busy interstates each and every minute, it comes as no great shock when a few of them collide, and a serious motor vehicle accident occurs. And in the wee hours of this morning, around 3:00 am, a crash transpired in the Southbound lanes of I-79. Police say that the crash resulted because of a driver who was heading the wrong way down the Pennsylvania interstate and that the accident involved 5 cars and 2 fatalities.
The devastating mishap took place in Franklin Park this morning as Brandy Lamison, 31, drove a minivan in the wrong direction of the Southbound lanes. Lamison struck a vehicle being operated by Justin Bowser, 20, head-on. Unfortunately, both Bowser and Lamison perished in the wreck.
As so often happens when two vehicles collide, others end up involved in the accident as well. In this instance, 3 other motor vehicles crashed into the aftermath of the horrifying calamity. A water truck was included in the wreck, and the misfortune resulted in minor injury for one man. Obviously, there is nothing more devastating than death, and the injured man was very fortunate to escape the crash with few injuries.
