Female Pedestrian Killed in Union Township Crash on U.S Route 422
Union Township, Pennsylvania (August 14, 2017) – Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a female pedestrian in Union Township.
The fatal crash happened at around midnight Sunday, August 13 on U.S Route 422 in Union Township, Lawrence County.
It was not clear how and why the woman was hit by the vehicle described as an SUV.
The victim was only described as a white female in her early to mid-30s. She had red hair and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Police closed down all lanes of U.S Route 422 in the area of Mathews Road as they collected information at the site.
