Joshua Lynn and Joy Flicker Hospitalized in Crash Involving 3 Cars and Cow
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (August 14, 2017) – Two people were hospitalized Monday morning after they were involved in a crash in Lancaster County.
The crash happened at 3 a.m. August 14, on Route 222 North in the area of the North Farmersville Road overpass.
Joshua Lynn of Gilbertsville was in the first vehicle driving north on 222 when he struck the loose cow. After the collision, a second vehicle being driven by Joseph Brommer, of Marietta hit the cow which was still on the roadway. After the second impact, Joy Flicker of Blandon who was driving the third vehicle struck the cow. The impact caused her vehicle to rollover.
Lynn and Flicker sustained injuries and were taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.
The cow belonged to Nevin Burkholder of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
Towing services removed all the vehicles from the crash site.
