South Middleton, Pennsylvania (August 16, 2017) – A man who sustained critical injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while riding a lawn mower last month in Cumberland County has died
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred at about 1:30 pm on Tuesday, July 25.
The man identified as Philip R. Myers, 78, was riding a lawn mower on his property onto East Old York Road in South Middleton Township when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on the roadway.
Myers sustained serious injuries and was flown to Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Medical reports show that he died from multiple traumatic injuries on Wednesday, August 9.
The police have not released the name of the driver that struck him.
