Two Bicyclists Recovering from Injuries Sustained in Hit-and-Run Crash in Palmyra, Pennsylvania

Lebanon, Pennsylvania (August 16, 2017) – Two bicyclists who were injured in a hit-and-run incident which occurred on the morning of July 22, are recovering from their injuries.

The police say at about 11 a.m. a driver of brown ‘90s Dodge Durango swerved at a group of bicyclists riding on the 8000 block of Colebrook Road on July 22 striking two bicyclists.

The victims suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident. One man was taken to Hershey Medical Center with a broken hip and a dislocated elbow and had to spend more than ten hours in surgery.

The cyclists were aged between 66 and 69 years, and the group had been riding together for more than 30 years.

South Londonderry Township police are still looking for the driver of the SUV who fled the scene.
