Possible Injuries Reported in Northeast Extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike Collision
Milford, PA (August 28, 2017) – A serious accident was reported Sunday afternoon on the northbound Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Based on the reports of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the collision occurred around 3 p.m. August 26 at milepost 41.3 between Lansdale and Quakertown.
The collision closed the northbound lanes of the highway with a detour setup at the Lansdale interchange in Montgomery County.
There was no further information available about the accident as well as the number of injuries involved in the crash. Several media outlets have reported that a couple of medical helicopters were used to bring injured patients to hospitals in the area.
