Mary O’Rourke, 81, Dies in Hospital after August 20 Broadhead Avenue Pedestrian Crash
East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (September 6, 2017) – Mary O’Rourke, 81, of Middle Smithfield died in Lehigh Valley Hospital on Friday, September 1.
She succumbed to injuries she sustained after being struck by a vehicle in East Stroudsburg.
According to the authorities, Mary was walking across the street in the 200 block of Broadhead Avenue at about 11:45 a.m. August 20, when she was hit by a vehicle.
Mary was pronounced dead at about 2:35 p.m. Friday, September 1.
As per the report, she died of multiple blunt-force trauma.
The incident was investigated by the coroner’s office and Stroud Area Regional Police.
